The Golf Shop Manager reports directly to the Director of Golf and is responsible for the effective seven-day-a-week operation and management of the Golf Shop and associated services befitting of a premier private golf club.

The following key qualities are essential.

• Minimum 5 Years Retail Management Experience in a similar role – Golf Industry experience is also preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organisational Skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Marketing and stock merchandising experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a large stock inventory effectively.
• Positive attitude and strive towards meeting sales targets.
• Ability to confidently lead and manage a team.
• Ability to embrace challenges and deliver exceptional service and results.
• Strong knowledge of golf, rules of golf and golf retail products.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and mange time efficiently.
• Ability to work hands-on, independently and within a team environment.
• Strong business acumen and financial skills.
• Experience with Northstar Club Management Software and MiClub Golf Management Software is preferred but not essential.
• Comply with the Work, Health and Safety policies and requirements.
• First Aid Certificate

Full-Time hours will be set across the days of Tuesday – Saturday although the successful candidate must be flexible across a seven-day roster.
