We are looking for a person looking to take the next step in their career with the role of “McLeod Country Golf Club Bar Operations Manager”. Join our dynamic team at our vibrant Golf Club nestled in the hills of Mount Ommaney 15 minutes west of Brisbane.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic individual with a proven track record to embrace the golf members, guests and function visitors.
McLeod Country Golf Club offers a diverse range of business with golf, bistro lunches, functions, trivia nights and special events for the community.
The venue accommodates from 50 – 300 patrons at various times over multiple areas, from the course to the bistro/bar and function spaces.
The job entails all aspects of successfully managing the beverage and bistro service side of the business. It is imperative that the applicant be able to lead by example and display a sense of professionalism & enthusiasm.
As well as previous experience, applicants should display an interest in both food and wine and be willing to further develop their knowledge through continued staff training.
Requirements
- Applicants must be fully up to date with RSA.
- Have a current RMLV Certificate is preferred.
- Staff recruitment and Team development.
- Managing supervisors and up to 20 bar and function staff.
- Developing wine, spirit and cocktail menus.
- Motivating and looking after the teams’ yearly awards.
- Rostering of staff.
- Orders for the bar and working with suppliers to market the venue with promotions.
- Work with the Events Manager & Head Chef to market and promote the venue and develop menus.
- Ensure WHS and compliance is maintained with policies updated as required.
