EOI: Contract Caterer – Asquith GC

POSTED ON April 12, 2023 @ 3:50 pm

Expression of Interest Information

Asquith Golf Club has a strong history of providing golf and club facilities to members and guests in Sydney’s Hornsby district. The Club is seeking submissions from interested parties for the provision of catering services.

The objective of Asquith Golf Club is to appoint an experienced party to provide catering services the Club’s members and guests.

Through this process, the Club is keen to identify the best options in relation to catering and function services that would:

  • complement its long term strategic objectives including providing ‘best of class’ member experience;
  • be seen as adding value to the member and guest proposition;
  • broaden the Club’s social-economic footprint across the region; and
  • provide remuneration returns that are consistent with their longer-term investment objectives.

Interested parties should provide clear details of:

  • their vision to deliver and develop the catering operation;
  • management of the organisation and their customer service experience;
  • experience approach, previous success and goals;
  • their preferred cuisine and sample menus for general catering, half-way and functions;
  • indicative pricing for each of the above;
  • how quality control of the services would be ensured;
  • staffing arrangements including kitchen management, other kitchen staff and front of house;
  • preferred financial and remuneration arrangements (base rent; turnover levy etc.) including marketing spend/plan, 18 months business development plan, modeling and indicative targets;
  • the desired contractual period;
  • any perceived or potential conflicts of interest that might arise should the interested party be selected to progress through to the selection process. If a conflict of interest is identified, the applicant must outline appropriate steps that reflect good governance;
  • three commercial references (the Club may contact the reference sites without referral to the interested party); and
  • the most recent financial statements for their business that indicates financial viability.

Any requests for further information and EOI pack should be directed the Club’s General Manager at 02 9477 1266 or gm@asquithgolfclub.com.au.
