JOB: Customer Service Coordinator – Walkinshaw Sports

About

Walkinshaw Sports is a supply partner, brand manager and distributor for global sports brands where we distribute and manage customers products in Australia and New Zealand or we, source, design and manufacture our own product to provide the industry with targeted golf and sports product solutions in hardware, accessories and sporting apparel.

The role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Customer Service Coordinator (CSC) to join our team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include being the critical first point of contact for our customers and sales team, whilst providing administrative and project support to the business. You will be responsible for responding to and managing internal and external customer-related inquiries as well as ensuring efficiency for all customer shipments and reporting.

Your duties will also include:

  • Ensuring that the customer service department and all aspects of customer care are managed efficiently;
  • Managing all e-mail, website and customer calls enquiries daily;
  • Managing back order programs, shipment notifications and all product information for WS orders;
  • Assisting the warehouse to meet daily and weekly order targets, in conjunction with processing timely data;
  • Assisting the sales coordinator with all sales representative needs and;
  • Assisting with management of the company website, digital marketing and product range release such as catalogue creation, order form build and price list updates.
  • Communicating and distributing product sell sheets, with applicable sales and product information.
  • Management of order entry, order problems and order administration on a daily basis.

To succeed in the role, you will bring the following experience and skills:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the sporting industry;
  • Have outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Initiative, proactive problem solving and uncompromising attention to detail;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for the generation of company reports and order processing.
  • High ability to learn new systems in IT and fast data entry capabilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
