We are looking for a Custom Club Team Leader to join our growing Operations team located at our South Pacific Headquarters in Southeast Melbourne.
As the Custom Club Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that all production orders sent to the assembly area are assembled to meet Callaway Golf Quality Standards and orders meet CGSP metrics.
This is a Team Leader level role with an expected level of effective staff management & reporting required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Schedule production and Roster in line with Daily Demand
- Kitting of production orders in readiness for build process
- Ensure that speed and accuracy of orders is maximised as per line balance and staff availability
- Supervise to ensure equitable scheduling of the duties along the Line Balance is achieved
- Ensure high quality standards are achieved and maintained
- Ensure Process and Procedures are followed as per Global Callaway Standards
- Complete all transactional reporting (daily/weekly) to appropriate stakeholders
Key Accountabilities & Role Objectives:
- Leadtime management
- Efficient Output – daily targets and KPIs reached
- Raw material stock management/integrity supporting daily/weekly/yearly metrics
- Quality Assurance in-line with Global Expectations
- Effective leadership resulting in a high performing team & good culture
- Safety in line with OH&S standards
Experience & Skills required:
- 2+ years experience in a stock control/assembly environment preferred
- Proven experience in leading a Team
- High attention to detail
- Effective communicator both verbal and written
- Customer centric attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong Interpersonal skills & ability to direct others
- Continuous Improvement/5S focused
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft (Excel, Word etc)
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- RF Scanner experience necessary
