The Role: Golf Tour Specialist (Mornington Peninsula or Melbourne, VIC)

Fairway Golf Tours is seeking a hands-on Golf Tour Specialist with the successful applicant being based in either the Mornington Peninsula OR Melbourne regions. This unique role involves hosting tours both locally and interstate, presenting an exciting blend of experiences for both golf enthusiasts and those seeking diverse leisure activities.

The successful candidate won’t just be hosting tours; this role is a comprehensive one that involves quoting, sales, logistics and hosting golf trips across Australia.

• Passion for golf and extensive knowledge of golf destinations across Australia.
• A dynamic individual with the ability to forge lasting relationships with clients and partners.
• Customer-focused mentality with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:

As a Golf Tour Specialist, you will:

• Craft unforgettable golf experiences for both new and existing clients.
• Prepare quotes and itineraries promptly.
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Generate innovative ideas to drive new business.
• Set and achieve sales targets collaboratively with the Fairway Golf team.
• Comfortably drive minibuses, facilitating transportation for clients.
• The ability to travel to host tours interstate is a necessity for this role

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in the golf or travel industry is advantageous.
• Genuine passion for the game of golf.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Hold a current full Australian driver’s license; MR class driver’s license is desirable.
• Proficiency in computer skills and the utilization of web-based programs are prerequisites for this position.
