JOB: Reception/Office Administration – Belmont Golf and Bowls Club
About
Located on the Pacific Highway, approximately two hours north of Sydney, Belmont Golf & Bowls is situated between idyllic Lake Macquarie and the Pacific Ocean.
Belmont Golf & Bowls is home to an 18-hole Par 72 Championship Links course set among rolling green fairways and trees with many of the fairways having the Pacific Ocean as their backdrop.
Belmont Golf Club first opened in 1952 and over the years the course has been continually improved to meet the playing expectations of golfers of all levels.
The role
The Administrative is responsible for all administrative support to the Belmont Golf Club office staff. The primary focus will be on general clerical, receptionist, Golf competition software and project-based work. As the face and the voice of the Club, the Administrative Assistant must project a positive and professional company image through phone and in-person interaction.
Job Functions:
- Answer multiline telephones, transfer to appropriate persons and handle member requests.
- Meet, greet and assist members and guests in all capacities.
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
- Have a working knowledge of the point of sale (SENPOS) and golf management
(MiClub) data systems.
- MiClub working knowledge to maintain the database and update member information.
- Microsoft Office working knowledge of Word and Excel to complete clerical support.
- Basic knowledge of accounts and data input into accounting database.
- Perform general clerical duties such as; photocopying, mailing and filing etc.
- Maintain and order office supplies.
- Support staff in assigned project work.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management otherwise not listed.
- Bar relief – bar staff lunch times and other times as required.
- Update website – news, events, comp results etc as and when required.
- Gift vouchers and donation vouchers.
- Manage MailChimp – checking and adding email addresses of new members.
- Prepare stocktake hardware.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing personality with professional verbal and written skills.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, email and telephone protocol.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- RSA and RCG.
- Computer skills.
- Knowledge of golf preferred.
