JOB: Golf Administrator – Northbridge Golf Club
About
Northbridge Golf Club is looking for a reliable, well-organised, customer-focused, Golf Administrator to join our friendly office team.
The club encourages applications from candidates with existing experience, knowledge or interest in golf. The role would ideally suit an existing golf industry member or someone wishing to start a career in golf management. The role would require approximately 30 hours over 4 days per week but variations to this would be considered for the successful candidate.
Key attributes
- Maintain the Club’s MiClub computerised golf competition system
- Maintain website competition pages / portal
- Prepare and manage golf timesheets, competition and leaderboard set ups
- Member invoicing, renewals and applications
- Lead generation of corporate golf days and new member initiatives
- Contribute to the Club’s weekly e-newsletter and social media programs
- Attend Match Committee Meetings and work closely with the General Manager and Chair on agendas, minutes and key action items
- Provide support to Committee Chairs and assist with – Golf, Membership & Marketing and development of the annual fixture book and annual report
- Any other activities required from time to time to enable the smooth operation of the Club’s golfing and social activities
- Experience and knowledge within the golf industry
- Reception, administration, office duties and membership enquires
- Availability for occasional weekend work
- R&A rules accreditation or an interest in completing
Key skills required by the position are:
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong customer service ethic with sales and marketing experience an extra advantage
- Ability to work independently
- Extensive oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing and new situations
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding IT Skills & ability to pick up new systems quickly and easily.
- Specifically skills in all Microsoft products including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
