St Lucia Golf Links is an 18 hole pay-and-play public golf course located a few minutes drive from Brisbane CBD.
The golf course is one of Brisbane’s oldest and has hosted several Queensland Open and PGA tournaments. The layout suits golfers of all levels.
Facilities include an 18 hole golf course (Par 69), a simulator, fully stocked Golf Shop, Callaway Fitting Centre, historic Hillstone clubhouse, including three function rooms, Hundred Acre (Bar, Bakery, Restaurant) and a Mini Golf Course.
The role
We are recruiting for a Golf Operations Supervisor to assist the Golf Operations Manager in leading the team in all parts of our daily operation.
Prior experience at a golf club or within the golf industry is preferred. The position provides an exciting long-term career development opportunity for the successful candidate.
Daily duties include;
- Reservations for golf, simulator and lessons
- Registration for golfers, lesson students and mini golf patrons
- Golf cart and golf club rentals
- Presentation and merchandising of Golf Shop
- Renting of indoor simulator
- Promotion of mini golf parties
- Set up and presentation of golf carts (70 carts)
In conjunction with the Golf Operations Manager, supervisory duties include but not limited to;
- Managing the tee time booking system including pre payments for golfers
- Rostering of the St Lucia Golf Links Team
- Stock control and placing of retail orders
- Quality control ensuring the defined standards of operation are achieved
- Planning of retail promotions, golf packages and mini golf activations
- Engagement with Brisbane hotels as golf tourism develops
Remuneration:
The position is full-time and salaried.
