JOB: Course Marshall – Indooroopilly Golf Club

Indooroopilly Golf Club (IGC) has just completed an exciting phase in our history with significant construction projects on the course and clubhouse offering to members just completed.
As a result, IGC have new opportunities for a Course Marshall in a casual role in our expanding Golf Operations/Retail team. The successful applicant will be joining a dedicated team focussed on providing exceptional levels of service to further enhance the golf experience.
The role
The Club is looking for a highly motivated person that has plenty of experience in a private member base Golf Club, who also holds an official Golf handicap and is qualified with the Rules of Golf. The position will require around 15-20 hours a week in a casual role
Key Responsibilities:
- Course monitoring of pace of play, course etiquette and rules of golf
- The operation functions 7 days a week with expected days being Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday
- You will be empowered to make decisions and be supported by the leadership team
Qualifications:
- Prior members golf club experience.
- A current Golf Australia handicap
- Level 1 certificate in Rules of Golf
- You will be a “people person” with a passion for providing exceptional levels of service.
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with people in a variety of circumstance and from varied backgrounds.
- Possess a thorough, organised and detail-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and qualified to work within Australia.
