Monash Country Club Bids Fond Farewell to General Manager John Harrison After a Decade of Outstanding Service

After 10 exceptional years at the helm of Monash Country Club, General Manager John Harrison will officially retire from his role on 31st August 2025.

John has been an outstanding leader, colleague, and friend — deeply respected by members and staff alike. His decade of dedicated service has left an indelible mark on the club, guiding it through growth, change, and many memorable moments.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to John for his unwavering commitment and leadership, and we warmly wish him, Michelle, Hannah, and Jack all the very best as he embarks on his next chapter. We’re thrilled that John will remain an active member of Monash and look forward to celebrating his contributions in the coming weeks — ideally with him wearing one of his famously bold holiday shirts.

Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce that Daniel Paton, currently Assistant General Manager, will step into the role of General Manager from 1st September 2025. Daniel brings energy, deep knowledge of the club, and a strong vision for the future.

Congratulations to both John and Daniel — one on completing a remarkable chapter, and the other on beginning an exciting new one.
