In total, 28 Clubs across NSW successfully applied for $228,000 in total funding through the program, which is designed to assist grass-roots sports development,  events, access. and facilities at a community level.

Stuart Fraser, CEO of Golf NSW, said it was always pleasing to see so many worthy initiatives succeed in harnessing some much-needed funds, which in turn benefit not only the clubs but also their communities.

“It’s always nice to know these funds will go to some very worthy projects across the State.

“Not only do they assist in keeping our sport healthy, but they improve the vitality of the communities the clubs are part of.”
