JOB ROLE: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and General Manager, your key responsibilities will include being the critical first point of contact for our customers, sales team and internal stakeholders whilst providing administrative and project support to the overall business. You will be responsible for responding to and managing internal and external customer related inquiries as well as ensuring efficiency for all customer shipments and reporting along with managing our on the road sales team inquiries as a core focus.
Your duties will also include:
- Ensuring that the customer service department and all aspects of customer care are managed efficiently;
- Managing all e-mail, website and customer/ sales team calls and inquiries daily;
- Managing back order programs, shipment notifications and all product information for WS orders;
- Assisting the warehouse to meet daily and weekly order targets, in conjunction with processing timely data;
- Assisting the sales manager and entire team with all sales representative needs and;
- Communicating and distributing product sell sheets, with applicable sales and product information.
You will enjoy the opportunity to add and increase value to our overall business by improving customer satisfaction through seeking proactive feedback and research with a pick it up and solve it attitude.
To succeed in the role, you will bring the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the sporting industry;
- Have outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skill’s;
- Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Initiative, proactive problem solving and uncompromising attention to detail;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and BAAN for the generation of company reports and order processing
