JOB: Food & Beverage Supervisor – Barwon Heads Golf Club (Victoria)
The Club
With over 1,750 members, The Barwon Heads Golf Club is recognised nationally as one of the country’s finest courses. Located on the Bellarine Peninsula, 20 minutes from Geelong, we provide a number of services to our Members.
We’re currently looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our amazing team. This key role is responsible for the supervision of front of house employees and will supervise major events throughout the year.
This role is responsible for:
- Supervision of front of house employees
- Responsible for all areas of food & beverage service and the service environment
- Assisting with roster, stock management, equipment maintenance and food handling
What you will do:
- Ensure that employees meet the needs of members and guests at all times
- Ensure the front of house team adhere to Club policies and standards
- Ensure health and safety is monitored at all times
- Proactively and courteously handle enquiries or complaints in a timely manner
- Foster sound communication between the front of house team and kitchen at all times
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have proven hospitality skills within a high level, service-oriented, food and beverage organisation
- Be a team player and lead by example
- Have great communication skills
- Take pride in your work and your working environment
- Understand and adhere to OHS requirements
What we are looking for:
- A hospitality professional with 2-3 year experience in a supervisory role
- Strong communication skills with proven customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- RSA Certificate
- Someone with the flexibility to work weekends on a rotating roster
