PING opens State of the Art Fitting Centre in Melbourne

POSTED ON September 17, 2019 @ 5:24 pm

Ping's new fitting centre

Continuing their commitment to custom fitting, PING have recently opened a State of the Art Fitting Centre in Melbourne.

Based in the heart of the ‘sandbelt’, the by-appointment studio will service golfers throughout Victoria with the latest technology ensuring that your next set of PING golf clubs help you play your best and lead to lower scores.

The Latest Technology

National Sales Manager, Brad Glass, explains that whilst PING will maintain a presence on-course with the PING Fitting Van visiting golf courses through Victoria, the studio will help support golfers who prefer to be custom fit within the indoor environment.

“We have been looking at opening a fitting center in Melbourne for some years and are excited that we are now in a position to offer this service in Melbourne. We are very fortunate that our customers tend to be incredibly loyal and it is great to be able to reward that loyalty with a Fitting facility located with a few kilometers of some of Australia’s very best golf courses”.

Focus on putters

The timing of the launch is ideal. PING have recently launched the G410 family of product and this series joins the iron families i210, i500, iBlade and of course, the GLE range engineered specifically for Ladies.

There will also be a continued focus on putters with the putter fitting be elevated to the first club in the bag to be fitted when requested.

The recently released Sigma 2 putter range has helped PING awaken from a ‘putter-slumber’ and rocketed the brand right back into the market place.

Glass explains “brands love to have a competitive advantage and we have it here with the Sigma 2 putters. With the adjustable length option available in the Sigma 2 range, we now are in a unique position of being able to probably custom fit the golfers length & stroke type and have them walk out of the shop with a putter built specifically for them.”

To arrange an appointment simply contact your local authorised PING retailer or email Matt Austin at matta@americangolf.com.au
