Riksha joins the MGI stable
MGI has been appointed the Australian distributor for the popular big wheel push golf buggy brand, Riksha. The Canadian company is known as the original big wheel golf buggy as well as for their light footprint.
When it comes to the distribution of premium golf brands, MGI are always raising the bar and the proven experts in the industry. Ian Edwards started MGI 21 years ago, developing his own golfing products such as MGI motorised golf buggies and Sureshotgps, as well as distributing brands Bag Boy, Datrek and Burton in Australia.
“Now having been appointed the distributor of Riksha we believe the newest addition complements our range and really positions us as one of Australia’s premium Golf Companies,” shared MGI Marketing Director, Miranda Turner.
“Riksha golf carts opens the door for MGI to offer a premium and unique golf cart to the golf industry for both the individual golfer and Golf Clubs looking for the newest in Fleet Buggy options”.
There are two models available in the Riksha range. The R-1000 cater to the Golf Club as a quality fleet to offer their members, and the R-3000 designed for the individual golfer.
Golf Clubs will welcome the 6.5kg one-piece frame which easily stack within each other and take no more than 30cm per buggy in floor space. The R-1000 is a durable rental buggy and requires virtually no maintenance, a result of the rust-resistant aluminium frame and the two 50cm wheels rolling on two sealed bearings.
Some of Australia’s finest golf courses, namely Barnbougle Dunes, Royal Melbourne, and Royal Sydney use the Riksha big wheel buggies in their rental fleets, as part of their exceptional service offerings for their members. Used worldwide, this buggy offers a reliable, proven alternative to club professionals & clubs for rental use.
“We are already experts in the golf buggy industry and it is what we know best,” shared Marketing Director, Miranda Turner.
“Adding the reputable Riksha Golf brand to our stables really reaffirms this positions in the Australian Golf Industry, and we look forward to growing this category with Riksha.”
