SEEK: Membership and Sales Manager – Spring Valley Golf Club
Spring Valley Golf Club is a private member’s golf club in Clayton South and we’re looking for innovative marketing professional to join our Administration team.
The successful applicant will have a marketing background with a passion and flair for the sports and recreation industry. The role will involve developing and coordinating the Club’s marketing plan, in partnership with the General Manager and other stakeholders, as well as coordinate and maintain the Club’s membership database and online presence on the internet and social media. You need to have exceptional customer service skills with excellent written and verbal expertise.
Your main responsibilities include:
Marketing – Identify new marketing strategies for attracting members and golf events to the Club and produce, manage and implement the Club’s marketing plan. Increase brand awareness of the Club, producing marketing materials with a consistent brand image of Spring Valley Golf Club.
Membership & Sales – manage all membership enquiries, coordinating and accurately maintaining the Club’s membership database. Analyse membership data and produce monthly membership reports for the General Manager.
Communications – Responsible for all content on the Club’s website and on social media being accurate and up to date, regularly updating the Member’s news page and producing an e-newsletter to all members.
This is a full time position. Additional hours and the occasional weekend may be required depending on Club events.
A passion for golf, or sport in general, is essential with a willingness to encourage people to become members of our Club. The Marketing and Sales Manager is a key member of our highly professional, efficient and helpful administration team and must have an energetic approach and a “Can Do” attitude. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic, friendly personality with excellent telephone and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in WordPress, Canva and Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, a distinct advantage.
