Keysborough Golf Club, referred to as ‘the Club’, is located in the South East suburbs of Melbourne. The Club has a membership base of over 1,000 members and a busy events and golfing calendar

JOB TYPE: Four days a week, days to be negotiated with some flexibility
LOCATION: Keysborough Golf Club, Hutton Rd, Keysborough,
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: General Manager
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement an approved marketing strategy for internal and external functions/events
- Collaborate effectively with relevant senior staff to co-ordinate golf, hospitality and administration as required for events/functions
- Oversee all matters, in conjunction with relevant staff members, relating to membership of the Club including maintenance of the membership database, delivery of annual subscriptions and other communications as directed
- Assist the Membership Committee to develop effective recruitment strategies for Committee approval
- Facilitate the production and delivery of a calendar of effective, up to date communications to Club members in conjunction with the Committee and sub-committees through a range of media, including newsletters, internet and social media
- Attend sub-committee meeting where relevant to responsibilities and provide secretarial support to sub-committees as designated
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in related area desirable
Experience:
- Relevant experience over 3 or more years
- Knowledge of golf and club environment
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised with the ability to co-ordinate and meet deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Development of brochures, signs, adverts for hard and soft advertising
- Advanced understanding of internet and social media in a business setting
- Marketing
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
- Complete planning and co-ordination deadlines on time
- Maintain and increase function/event bookings
- Ensure membership database is up to date
- Ensure the highest level of service for functions/events
- Complete annual Club member communications calendar
- Deal with customers, suppliers, Club members, potential members and guests professionally at all times
- Maintain effective working relationships with other staff members and sub-committees
