True Spec Golf and GolfBox Expand to the Sandbelt
Golfers on Australia’s east coast now have access to a world-class equipment experience as True Spec Golf and GolfBox officially announced the opening of their newest fitting facility in Melbourne’s iconic Sandbelt region.
The launch marks a significant expansion for the partnership, moving beyond its initial success in Perth to bring a “brand-agnostic” fitting philosophy to one of the world’s most famous golfing hubs. Located at 26 Hamlet Street, Cheltenham, the studio is designed to offer a professional yet relaxed environment for players to optimize their gear.
A Data-Driven Approach to the Game
The new Sandbelt facility is equipped with high-end technology and a massive equipment matrix to ensure every club in a player’s bag is dialed in:
- Advanced Tracking: The studio utilizes Foresight GCQuad launch monitors for precise data collection.
- Precision Putting: A specialized putter fitting service uses Quintic Ball Roll technology to improve performance on the greens.
- Massive Selection: Golfers can test a matrix of over 70,000 combinations of club heads and shafts from every major manufacturer.
- Expert Guidance: All sessions are conducted by Master Fitters who have been trained and certified at True Spec’s head office in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Built to Last
A key differentiator of the GolfBox Custom powered by True Spec Golf model is the transition from fitting to the finished product. Every club fitted in Melbourne is custom-built at a dedicated shop in Perth.
These clubs are assembled by Master Builders to the exact specifications recorded during the fitting session, ensuring that the performance measured in the studio translates perfectly to the golf course.
Partnership Perspectives
Grant McPherson, Chief Commercial Officer at GolfBox, noted that the partnership helps fulfill the company’s mission of providing a “unique, world-class experience” to Australian golfers.
“Given how passionate Australians are about playing golf, we at True Spec Golf are thrilled to be able to offer our expertise to help up their game,” added Scott Anderson, President of True Spec Golf.
