Golf Tourism NZ Progress Report November 2016
Golf Tourism New Zealand has release a progress report on the past year of achievements for the golf tourism industry, including the organisation’s many initiatives and activities.
The scheme, brought forward in 2014, seeks to better understand the volume of golfers visiting NZ in order to deliver on tourists’ expectation of their experience.
The update is the third in line since the strategy was initiated and contains an activity-summary by Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) and Golf Tourism New Zealand (GTNZ), as well as provide information on recent and upcoming events.
Highlights of the new report includes data on international rounds across the 12 Marquee courses, the total annual value of inbound golf tourism as of August 2016, and visitor spend by golfers compared to previous year.
