Buzz in the industry is building as it was announced Golf Business Forum would be returning to Melbourne in July 2018. A golf business event initially developed to deliver education and networking for managers and owners from the public golf sphere, the inaugural event in 2016 attracted all comers from Australian golf, including member-based clubs, vendors, local councils and national and international industry heavyweights. The inaugural event in July 2016 was an outstanding success.

Organisers Guy Chapple and Andrew Davies are wasting no time in gathering speakers and content to meet the high watermark set by the 2016 event. “We’ll be in a position to announce the broad agenda in the next few months,” said Davies. “The pressure is on to deliver, but we’ve got some exciting ideas and with the support of our key sponsors we’ll be delivering a bigger and better event in 2018.”

Sponsors from 2016 have been eager to get back on board to replicate the success of their involvement with the inaugural event. Platinum Partner MPower MSL and Foundation Partner Golf Australia lead the way once again and, according to Chapple, have been instrumental in ensuring the event maintains the quality the industry has come to expect. “We’re incredibly grateful to all our sponsors, not just for the funding support, but for the vote of confidence. We’re delighted that all who were involved in the 2016 event have confirmed their commitment for 2018.”

“Golf Australia was delighted to support the first Golf Business Forum as a ‘Foundation Partner’. The inaugural event was an outstanding success. It exceeded our expectations and facilitated some important new conversations and connections for our team. Golf Australia is delighted to confirm its commitment and support for the 2018 edition.” – Stephen Pitt, Chief Executive Officer, Golf Australia

The sponsorship prospectus has been released today and details a wide range of sponsorship and exhibition packages still available.

The 2016 program had everything from industry trend forecasters to loyalty experts and Antarctic adventurers. What’s lined up for delegates in 2018? “We want to make sure that the content delivers not just tools and strategies integral to the success of those at the coalface of Aussie golf, but also some inspiration and conversation. We all need a bit of positive thinking and delegates from last year have told us they came away full of ideas and energy for what lay ahead,” enthused Davies. “We will be launching the 2018 themes and keynote speakers later this year and will be offering restricted early bird rates to our rates to our registered contacts at the same time. We would encourage everyone to sign up for updates on our website so they don’t miss out.”
