Manly Golf Club Appoints New General Manager
The Manly Golf Club announced last week to its members the appointment of experienced General Manager Daniel Constable.
Daniel has an extensive career in golf club management and is currently the General Manager at Cromer Golf Club in Sydney. He has previously held the same role at Port Macquarie and Ryde-Parramatta.
His career also includes positions at Avondale, The Lakes and as a PGA Trainee at St. Michaels.
Daniel has a broad education to complement his golfing background with formal governance education and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration. He is also a member of the highly regarded Club Manager Association of Australia (CMAA).
During the recruitment process, the Board was particularly impressed with Daniel thorough understanding of the business, his lateral thinking, gregarious nature, and people skills.
He will commence his duties on 9 May 2022 with a handover from the interim General Manager.
The previous General Manager Nigel Gibson has moved to the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club as the new General Manager
