The Royal Sydney Golf Club needs little introduction as it is universally recognised as being at the pinnacle of membership sporting clubs in Australia.
- 6,000 Members and 250 staff.

- 14-month Championship Course re-build commences January 2024.

About the Role
Reporting to the President and working with the General Committee, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for:
- Contributing to the Club’s strategic direction and leading the delivery of the agreed strategy through member and stakeholder engagement and close liaison with the General Committee and Sub-Committees.
- Achieve an enhanced Member experience by providing overall direction and inspiration to a talented and multi-disciplinary executive team.
- Nurturing the Club’s culture which is underpinned by the core values and philosophy.
Oversight of the Club’s operations, budgets, and risk profile.
Skills & Experience
Whether you are the CEO/GM of a private member Club, sporting organisation or a 5-star hospitality / tourism organisation you must have:
- A strong track record of engaging stakeholders and delivering operational excellence.
- An ability to contribute to, and lead the delivery of, the Club’s strategic plan.
- Successfully lead large multi-disciplinary teams.
- Delivered high-quality F&B operations as a direct or delegated responsibility.
- The personality to be the day-to-day ‘face’ of the organisation to Members; and
- A passionate interest in sport, with golf a preference.
