Melbourne Cable Park home to the 4th SHANX Mini Golf Facility

POSTED ON February 27, 2024 @ 3:25 pm

Melbourne Cable Park, located in Bangholme just 40 minutes southeast of the Melbourne CBD, is now home to the 4th SHANX Mini Golf Facility in Australia.

Designed and constructed by the in-house team at SHANX Mini Golf, this mini golf course sets a new benchmark for modern, entertainment-focused mini golf facilities globally. The course boasts 18 holes with dual pins for a 36-hole experience. PLUS, in a Southern Hemisphere first, includes a 3-hole Challenge Hole to create an exciting finale to your round.

Vegetation throughout the course is 100% indigenous and aligned to the EVC’s and Bio-Region as well as the City of Greater Dandenong’s Bio-diversity Plan. ‘The park has always been ahead of the game in terms of our vision and activities to enjoy here. SHANX Mini Golf was the only company that could deliver our vision for mini golf at the Park. Our customers are always looking for more things to do at the Park and mini golf made so much sense for us.

But, we didn’t want just any old mini golf, we wanted the best we could get.’

Ian Clark, Director, Melbourne Cable Park. Located to the south of the Park adjacent to the amazing Aqua Park, SHANX @ Melbourne Cable Park is another ‘non-water’ activity at the Park for the community to enjoy. The Award Winning Outdoor Recreation facility also provides an urban high ropes course, cable wakeboarding, and an outdoor cinema.

Peter Vlahandreas, Managing Director at SHANX Mini Golf said, ‘This course sets a new standard for us at SHANX.

We set out to create our best course yet; a course that not only looks amazing but is also super fun and hole-in-oneable. We’re thrilled to partner with Ian and the team at Melbourne Cable Park.”

SHANX @ Melbourne Cable Park is now open for play, 7 days including Twilight Golf on weeknights and sessions every weekend. Fully Licensed and offering a selection of catering options SHANX @ Melbourne Cable Park is the ideal venue for your next family or team catch-up or Corporate event.

Melbourne Cable Park is Melbourne’s premier water sports and entertainment facility, open 7-days. For more information and to book your visit please visit; www.melbournecablepark.com
