Golf New Zealand to partner with Kerali Golf Ltd
Golf New Zealand has entered a partnership with Kerali Golf Ltd., a new golf events company, to deliver a series of Golf New Zealand events.
Kerali Golf Ltd directors Alison Wieringa and Kerry McFadyen will take over the running of the New Zealand Women’s Autumn Cup, New Zealand Mid-Amateur Championship, New Zealand Women’s Senior Foursomes and the New Zealand Mix Foursomes Championship in 2025 and the New Zealand Women’s Seniors in 2026.
Denise Langdon from PaR nz Golfing Holidays previously managed and delivered these events. At the end of 2024, she stepped away from running them to focus primarily on her business’s travel component.
The first two events to be run by Kerali Golf Ltd will be the New Zealand Women’s Autumn Cup, which will be held at the Mercury Bay Golf Club from March 24-26, and the New Zealand Mid-Amateur Championship, which will be held at the Omanu Golf Club over Easter Weekend from April 18-20. Dave Mangan, General Manager of Championships and Golf Operations, is looking forward to the new partnership.
“This series of events has proven to be very popular among the participants that keep coming back year after year and we have no doubt that Ali and Kerry will continue run excellent events for us around the country.
Golf New Zealand has had a wonderful relationship with PaR nz Golfing Holidays who have raised the bar extremely high in terms of event delivery in this country. We wish Denise and Kim all the best for the future and thank them for the job they have done for us in the past. Denise will still work on the 2025 New Zealand Women’s Seniors and NZ Women’s Masters tournaments in addition to assisting with Rules at the 2025 NZ Open”.
Kerry from Kerali Golf Ltd said “We are absolutely delighted to partner with Golf NZ to host these incredible tournaments! We look forward to creating memorable events, working with golf clubs around the country, fostering friendly competition, and ensuring plenty of fun for everyone involved.”
