JOB: Golf Operations Manager – Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club

Mt Warren Park Golf Club operated by Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Golf Operations Manager.

The Golf Course and Club is conveniently located in Mt Warren Park halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast just off the M1 known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a fantastic 18 hole course and 14 bay driving range facility.

The successful applicant will report to Senior Management, and you will be an integral member of the senior leadership team where you will be responsible for the effective management of Golf & Membership operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the management team to deliver outstanding service and foster a positive and profitable golfing environment.
• Liaise and coordinate with the golf committees.
• Implement strategies to boost membership, corporate and social play and attract new players to the club including overall participation rates.
• Assist with budget preparation and manage expenses effectively.
• Remain up to date with the daily events, fixtures and upcoming events including coordination.
• Assist in the promotion and marketing coordination of Golf operations
• Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures across the club to ensure compliance and service standards are maintained.
• Act as course marshal when required.
• Train, supervise and schedule golf shop staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Handle members’ issues and concerns professionally.
• Train, guide and supervise indentured associates.

Qualifications and Suitability Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be a Vocational Member of the PGA or PGA Professional.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with the latest golfing trends and a passion for the sport.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible roster and hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of golf software systems and proficiency in general office software.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
• An innovative problem-solver who generates workable solutions & resolves issues and complaints.
• Hold or able to acquire RSA, RSG and RMLV certification including Blue Card for working with children and Police Check.
