Beresfield Golf Course Under Clublinks Management

POSTED ON December 17, 2025 @ 2:47 pm

Golf enthusiasts and families in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region have a new reason to cheer! Beresfield Golf Course is set to make a triumphant comeback on January 14, 2026, under the management of Clublinks, one of Australia’s leading leisure and community management companies.

Appointed by the City of Newcastle, Clublinks is gearing up to transform the 24-hectare site into a premier destination for golf, mini-golf, and social gatherings. The venue, which already features a 9-hole golf course, an adventure mini-golf course, a clubhouse, pro shop, and picnic areas, is poised for significant enhancements.

A Vision for Fun and Connection

Anthony Lawrence, Chief Executive Officer at Clublinks, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “Our vision is simple: create a vibrant, inclusive space where everyone can play, laugh, and connect. Think golf, mini-golf, Padel courts, and plenty of good vibes!”.

Clublinks’ vision for the revitalized course focuses on accessibility, sustainability, and delivering outstanding service.

Exciting New Features and Upgrades

The venue is currently undergoing essential repairs and facility upgrades, including bridge replacements, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Following the opening in January, the following new attractions and improvements are “coming soon”:

  • Padel Courts: The introduction of Newcastle’s first Padel courts, offering a fresh twist on fun.
  • Driving Range: A multi-bay driving range for golfers to perfect their swing.
