Cameron Smith Buys Record-Breaking $10m Brisbane Penthouse

POSTED ON September 19, 2025 @ 11:15 am

Australian golf sensation Cameron Smith has been revealed as the buyer of a record-breaking penthouse in Brisbane’s prestigious New Farm suburb. The pro golfer paid a stunning $10 million for the luxury apartment at 60 Moray St, setting a new benchmark for the city’s prestige apartment market at approximately $47,000 per square meter.

The off-market sale was brokered by Heath Williams of Place New Farm. Smith, 31, reportedly snapped up the property just two days before it was due to be publicly listed, beating out multiple other offers. The penthouse will serve as his Brisbane base, where he plans to spend about three months a year when he isn’t competing internationally.

“Brisbane will always feel like home to me,” Smith said. “The penthouse has an incredible rooftop that really sold me. It’s a place where I can relax with family and friends when I’m back, and it gives us a great base for the time we spend here each year.”
