Canterbury Golf Welcomes New Marketing & Communications Coordinator

POSTED ON August 5, 2025 @ 5:22 pm

Canterbury Golf is pleased to announce the appointment of Steph Peploe as its new Marketing and Communications Coordinator, a part-time role that officially commenced on 21 July 2025.

A passionate golfer and member of Pegasus Golf Club, Peploe brings a wealth of experience in brand and campaign strategy, having held senior marketing roles at Farmlands and most recently as Senior Marketing Specialist with Landpower. Her proven expertise in strategic communication, combined with a genuine love for the game, makes her an ideal addition to the Canterbury Golf team.

“I’m excited to be started!” said Peploe.
“I’m focused on growing the game by shining a light on all the incredible initiatives happening across our region. From grassroots programs to major events, my role is all about connecting more people to the sport we love and building an engaged, supportive community of golf fans and players here in Canterbury. I’ll be in touch in the coming months with more updates.”

In this newly created role, Peploe’s initial focus will include:

  • Developing an annual content plan that reflects the diversity of the Canterbury golf audience
  • Creating performance-driven strategies for eDM and social media to grow reach and engagement
  • Producing refreshed brand guidelines for Canterbury Golf
  • Supporting key promotional campaigns for events and special projects

Canterbury Golf looks forward to sharing more dynamic and engaging content with the regional golfing community and continuing to build momentum for the sport across clubs and courses.
