The Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club is a 36-hole Golf Club and is pleased to offer a role within the Golf shop team which prides itself on delivering great service to members and guests.The Club has a very active membership with a high number of members and social rounds played each dayThe Golf Shop is independently run by the Head Professional, with a small team of 4 full-time staff as well as additional casual staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven person to join our team, in either a part-time or full-time capacity.

The role involves all aspects of golf retail and golf operation and club fitting. We are building a new Fitting and coaching centre and experience in club fitting will be advantageous.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Head Professional.

Punctual
Attention to detail
Honest and self-motivated
Strong Customer service skills
Computer literate (ideally MiClub booking skills and timesheet setup experience advantageous)
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work at least one day on the weekend ongoing

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Delivering strong customer service
Club fitting
Golf equipment sales
Administering member competitions, guest check-in and assisting in corporate events.
Handicap and Competition management
All other duties (related to Golf Shop operations) as instructed by the Golf Professional

The successful applicant will be renumerated in line with the Amusement, Recreation and Events Award for their shop hours, commissions on sales and fitting fees will be negotiated at the time of the interview
