The Role
We are expanding into Adelaide and seeking a passionate Golf Tour Specialist to join our team. Adelaide, one of Australia’s premier golfing destinations, is brimming with potential, and we need an enthusiastic golf aficionado to help us tap into this exciting market. This role leverages key events like Gather Round, LIV Golf, and other major events in Adelaide, presenting endless opportunities!
As a Golf Tour Specialist, you will:
- Host and manage golf tours locally and interstate, providing a blend of golf and leisure activities.
- Engage in all aspects of tour planning, including quoting, sales, logistics, and hosting, requiring strong computer skills.
Key Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the Adelaide golf market and local attractions such as wineries, food options, and sporting events.
- Passion for golf and comprehensive knowledge of golf destinations across Australia.
- Creative mindset to develop unique and engaging tour experiences.
- Strong IT skills for creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Create and host golf tours in South Australia.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop unique tours attracting golfers to South Australia.
- quotes and itineraries promptly.
- Generate innovative ideas to drive new business.
- Set and achieve sales targets with the Fairway Golf team.
- Drive minibuses for client transportation.
- The ability to travel to host tours interstate is a necessity for this role
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in the golf or travel industry is a plus.
- Genuine passion for golf.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Current full Australian driver’s license; MR class desirable.
