Golf Matters on the Agenda at High-Profile Conference

POSTED ON August 19, 2017 @ 9:15 am

Golf will feature prominently during next month’s Sports Matters conference.

Part of the award-winning All That Matters, Asia’s leading music, sports and entertainment industry conference, the Ritz-Carlton Millenia in Singapore is the venue for the event, from September 11-13.

The Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) is one of the Supporting organisations.

Spencer Robinson, the AGIF’s Chief Communications Officer, will moderate a session on golf with a high-profile panel including Giles Morgan, Global Head of Sponsorship with HSBC, Josh Burack, the Asian Tour’s Chief Executive Officer, and Sean Pyun, Vice President and Managing Director of the LPGA.

Presented by FOX Sports, Sports Matters will debate the continued convergence of sport and entertainment and will cover topics including the commercialisation of golf, e-sports, rugby, India and China.

Jasper Donat, Co-Founder and CEO of Branded, said: “We’re delighted for the first time to include golf as one of the featured sports this year.

“The programme for this year’s All That Matters is more diverse and more comprehensive than ever before, reflecting the quantum change that this industry is enjoying.

“In recent times, we’ve seen many significant changes taking place in golf in Asia and around the world. We have put in place a panel of experts who will debate the general state of the game and discuss the directions in which they believe it needs to go in order for the sport to flourish.”

This year’s All That Matters offers the biggest and most diverse conference programme yet, bringing together over 30 keynotes and 125 speakers who will participate in more than 70 sessions across the programmes’ five content tracks, encompassing Music, Sports, Gaming, Online and Marketing.

At night and throughout the preceding weekend (September 9-10), All That Matters delegates will be given the opportunity to continue their networking as over 40 bands from around the world entertain delegates as part of the Music Matters Live festival at Chijmes.

Tickets are available to buy, priced from US$599 at http://www.allthatmatters.asia/main/
