JOB: Golf Operations Attendant – Southport Golf Club

About

The role of the Golf Operations Attendant is to deliver and maintain a high standard of member services across the entire business.

This position requires an individual who can work independently and can work a majority of weekend shifts.

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

  • Picking of range balls.
  • Cleaning of the workman, ball pick-up machine, wash bay area and a small fleet of carts.
  • Ensure all golf service-related product is maintained and presented by standard operating procedures including driving range, carts, bag storage, club repair, pull trolleys, and so on.
  • Ability to follow lock-up procedures.
  • Keep the driving range area clean and organised.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the shop.
  • Competition and handicap management, including check-in and administering the comp results.
  • Assist with shop sales including ordering and stocktake.
  • Maintain a high level of member services.

 

 

Successful applicants should also have the following:

  • Be capable of lifting 15kg regularly.
  • Ability to work alone.
  • Have their transport.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
  • Impressive communication and computer skills
  • Have an understanding of the golf industry, previous experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a small team environment.

Hours:

  • 10-25 hours per week.
  • The role is casual.
