JOB: Course Manager – The Pine Rivers Golf Club (QLD)

Full-Time Position – Circa $70 – $75K
The Pine Rivers Golf Club is searching for a motivated and passionate individual with experience and qualifications in turf maintenance and course planning to join our team.
Founded in 1973, the Pine Rivers Golf Club has become one of the most accessible and enjoyable 18-hole golf courses within the Northern Corridor of Brisbane. Located only 40 minutes north of Brisbane, the Pine Rivers Golf Club is a busy hub for social and competitive golfers servicing the communities of Narangba, North Lakes, Petri and Kallangur.
Over the past 3 years, the Pine Rivers Golf Club has experienced significant growth and has positioned itself as the preferred Golfing Destination in the region. The club in is now beginning the implementation of a new course environmental masterplan which will focus on developing a self-sustainable course into the future. This unique and exciting leadership role will be ideal for a professional who is experienced with managing weekly and annual maintenance programs whilst working closely with the PRGC Manager to advance the new course development plan.

Qualifications & Expectations
Qualifications in Turf Management preferably with experience in the maintenance of a golf course
Hold a Qld Driver’s License and relevant WH&S Licenses
Operations
- Ability to work with budgets and oversee the ordering and management of products
- Competent with the operation and care of turf machinery
- Demonstrated experience with preparing and the application of chemicals and fertilizes
- Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate course and green renovation schedules
- Reasonable mechanical skills with the ability to facilitate mechanical adjustments and facilitate repairs on machinery and course irrigation assets as required
Communication & People Management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across a diverse business including a loyal team of volunteer workers
- Demonstrated written and interpersonal communication.
Systems & IT
Working knowledge of computer software (Word, Outlook Emails, Excel)
Safety
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
- Current certifications relation to chemical handling
- Provide Covid19 Vaccination evidence or other in keeping with the Queensland Government Health Directives
