JOB: Finance & Administration Manager – Wynnum Golf Club
Wynnum Golf Club (est. 1922), in Brisbane’s Bayside, offers an 18-hole golf course and practice facilities, with Clubhouse offering Bistro, Bar, TAB, Gaming and Wedding & Function Centre.
The Club is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance & Administration Manager responsible for the preparation, presentation, analysis and reporting of the financial accounts and the efficient administration and operation of the Club office.
Candidates will ideally hold formal qualifications or equivalent experience in finance and accounting processes and systems and the preparation and presentation of financial accounts, including oversight and preparation of tax and regulatory reporting including BAS, PAYG, Superannuation and Work Cover. Office responsibilities include reception and telephone services, payroll & human resources and information & technology (IT) systems, membership administration and point of sale (POS).
The role requires a very hands-on, collaborative, flexible and personable capability in responding to a welcome stream of member/customer inquiries, and supporting the staff team within a busy and fast-paced event and hospitality environment.
Remuneration is under the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award, L10+20%, up to $75K.
Golf, club, or hospitality experience is welcome however not essential.
