The Redwood Park Golf Club, one of the most affordable golf clubs in Auckland, nestles in a picturesque parklike setting at the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges.

Following a business restructure and major course and clubhouse redevelopment programme following the devastating Auckland floods, the Golf Club is seeking a skilled management professional to bring these projects to maturity.

The Club:

Redwood Park Golf Club operates a busy 18-hole members course, strategically located in thriving West Auckland offering year-round golf for 750 members with first class bar and catering facilities.

The Position:

The position reports to the Chair of the Club’s Board. While a golfing or sporting background would be highly advantageous, it is not vital. Proven successful management in a business or similar organization would be highly advantageous.

Key Attributes:

The role will be to oversee the daily running of the club including:

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the club and all applicable compliance responsibilities.
• Financial Management and administration.
• Marketing and promotional work, including working with a third party to secure and retain business partnerships.
• Overseeing all staff and managing all staff-related matters.
• Assisting with running of club tournaments and events.
• A prominent level of focus on providing great customer experiences.
• Exceptional stakeholder management including members, guests, local government, and other organizations as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Skills that would be beneficial.

• Tertiary qualification
• Liquor Control Qualification (LCQ).
• Current Bar Managers Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
