JOB: Golf Course Superintendent – Strathfield Golf Club
Strathfield Golf Club is one of the best golfing facilities in Sydney with a recently developed course and new clubhouse with a modern function centre.
Strathfield Golf Club is looking to find our new Course Superintendent.
Applicants will possess:
- Must hold turf management qualifications & AQF3 Chemical accreditation.
- Plan, Develop and Implement the maintenance program on the course. Previous experience with couch, kikuyu and zoysia preferred.
- Lead and develop the course maintenance team, a 2IC, mechanic and 8 grounds staff.
- Manage and control budget expenditure.
- Experience in chemical management and application.
- Monitor & maintain work health & saftey obligations of grounds and course staff.
- Experience in operating turf machinery
- Prepare rosters, approve time sheets and other staff admin duties as required.
- Experience with irrigation systems programming, repairs & troubleshooting (preferably Toro)
- Strong Work Ethic
- Attention to detail
