We are seeking a dynamic Pro Shop & Golf Course Manager to oversee the daily operations of both the pro shop and the course, ensuring high-quality service and smooth facility management.

Role Overview

The Pro Shop & Golf Course Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the golf course, including pro shop retail, golf operations, course maintenance coordination, staff management, and customer experience. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for golf.

Key Responsibilities

Pro Shop & Retail Management

• Oversee all pro shop operations, including inventory management, sales, and merchandising.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting members and guests with bookings, equipment, and apparel.
• Manage the point-of-sale system and financial transactions.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize pro shop revenue.

Golf Course Operations

• Oversee tee time bookings, pace of play, and golfer experience.
• Work closely with the superintendent to ensure course maintenance meets high standards.
• Manage golf cart fleet, including maintenance and availability.
• Coordinate with event planners for tournaments and special events.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Staff & Administration

• Recruit, train, and supervise pro shop staff, course marshals, and other golf-related employees.
• Develop work schedules and manage staff performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with club members, guests, and stakeholders.
• Track key performance metrics and provide reports to ownership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in golf course management, pro shop management, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of golf operations, rules, and industry trends.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management and customer service.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, sales reporting, and cost control.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
