The Opportunity
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic Golf Operations Manager to work in one of Australia’s newest and most impressive golf facilities. The Golf Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a team that can deliver a broad range of golf services including golf coaching and clinics, golf events, retail products and more. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Course Superintendent, this is an amazing opportunity to be a part of something really special on The Bellarine.
The role
- Operate the Pro Shop in accordance with established targets
- Manage golf events and competitions
- Assist with the promotion of golf course facilities
- Manage the golf cart fleet including storage, recharging, cleaning and maintenance
- Liaise with other departments as required to coordinate functions and events
- Manage all golf course activities including schedules of play, tee times and pace of play
- Manage, roster, train and develop all Pro Shop team members
All about you:
- you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience at a golf club in a Golf Operations senior role
- you have a true passion for golf and people. Your aim will be to make our customers experience at Curlewis Golf Club one to remember
- Have a working knowledge of Golf and Club operating systems and POS – experience with MiClub an advantage
- a positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- an outgoing personality and sense of humour
- confidence and a professional phone manner
- ability to be creative in order to develop and drive the growth of the business
