The Vines Golf Course is located in Woodcroft South Australia, just 25 minutes South of the Adelaide CBD.

A private golf course with a newly renovated professional shop, that is preparing for the next step in its 99-year history.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and passionate Golf Operations Manager to lead the golf department, manage the club’s many internal and Golf Australia events, retail sales and work collaboratively with the other area heads of the facility.

The Golf Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development and driving of the implementation of our golf strategy. Key responsibilities will be centred around maximising growing their team, retail sales, inventory management, increasing equipment rental, lessons, club fittings and fitting days, club-funded development programs and working collaboratively to develop club culture maximising members’ experiences.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Experience in a similar position;
• Be passionate about promoting and growing the game of golf;
• Enjoy introducing new players to the game via a range of innovative programs;
• A strong background in retail;
• Experience with the MiClub booking system
• Be well presented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Be commercially oriented with the ability to manage and exceed budget; and
• The ability to collaborate with the senior management team to achieve the golf and overall facility objectives.
• Have a Full PGA Membership. Advanced status in any stream is desirable.

The Golf Operations Manager is a full-time salary position who will also be an integral part of the overall management team. Lesson commission will be an additional income stream for the professional paid as a commission.
