JOB: Golf Operations Supervisor – The Grange Golf Club (SA)

Founded in 1926, The Grange Golf Club is one of Australia’s premier golf clubs with two internationally rated 18-hole championship golf courses, both ranked in the top 50 golf courses in Australia and an award-winning hospitality venue. The Club is seeking a Golf Operations Supervisor.

Later this month, the Club will host LIV Adelaide for the second year with the record-breaking 2023 event named the World’s Best Golf Event of the Year.

The Club is enjoying a thriving membership with over 2,200 members playing 110,000 rounds annually and a waitlist.

The role

Key Responsibilities of the role –

  • Preparing all golf timesheets in accordance with the Club’s policies
  • Setting up, running and closing Club competitions ensuring accurate allocation of prizes
  • Preparing, running and closing Special Events
  • Successfully run Corporate and Group Golf Days in conjunction with the Events Co-ordinator
  • Co-ordinating visitor bookings
  • Arranging trophy and honour board engraving
  • Ensuring the website is up to date with competition results, holes-in-one etc
  • Review/develop Conditions of Play
  • Attend Match Committee meetings and assist pennant team managers

What you will bring to the role –

  • Golf knowledge and experience, including the Rules of Golf
  • A positive “can-do” attitude and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to follow and implement Club policies and procedures
  • Previous experience of MiClub is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not required
