About
Are you passionate about golf, experienced in retail and known for your friendly and professional approach to customer service? Campbelltown Golf Club is looking for motivated Golf Shop Assistants to join our team in supporting the daily operations of our vibrant golf facility.
Reporting directly to the Director of Golf, this hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to work across golf retail, member engagement, competition management and golf cart operations – all within a supportive, community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Golf Operations
- Assist with daily golf enquiries from members and visitor
- Maximise course usage through efficient tee-time and competition bookings
- Help organise and administer golf competitions and events
- Liaise with the Director of Golf and Greenkeeping teams to ensure smooth course operations
Proshop & Retail
- Deliver outstanding customer service in the Proshop
- Promote retail offerings and maintain a clean, professional shop presentation
- Accurately handle transactions and stock using the Club’s POS system
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks
Golf Cart & Equipment Hire
- Manage motorised and pull cart hire processes, including documentation and safety checks
- Prepare, clean, and store golf carts as needed
Social & Corporate Golf
- Work alongside the Director of Golf and Marketing teams to attract and manage social and corporate golf bookings
- Build strong relationships with local Social Golf clubs
About You:
- Prior retail experience (essential)
- Solid golf knowledge, including understanding of equipment, course play, and etiquette
- A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor – you make every guest feel welcome
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and within a small team
- Available to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
