The Redland Bay Golf Club has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Golf Shop Assistant.

About the Club 

Redland Bay Golf Golf Club is situated on the foreshores of Moreton Bay, only 50 mins from the Brisbane CBD. A semi private golf course, Redland Bay has in excess of 1200 golfing members and is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated employee to work in our Golf Shop.

The Position

The Golf Shop is the primary contact point for members and guests and therefore the successful candidate will possess a strong customer service attitude and personable approach to ensure an outstanding experience for members and guests alike.

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, this position will be a dedicated staff member to the Club’s member services and retail operations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Tee sheet management.
• Golf Shop Retail & Merchandising.
• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Competition Management (MSL Software).

About You

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities;

• Well presented, honest, reliable with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Certified PGA member or associate (preferrable)

The Golf Shop operates 7 day a week. The successful candidate will be required to work weekends and some evenings (driving range).

RSA and working with children’s card are required to perform this role (these can be obtained prior to commencement if need be).

Remuneration:

Total hours are negotiable and flexible from casual/part time role (min 25hrs/wk), into a full-time position. Remuneration for the role will be in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 and can be increased based on the experience of the candidate.

In addition all Club employees receive a daily meal allowance and access to the golf facility.

Commencement is available immediately for the successful applicant.
