The Lakes Golf Club is looking to recruit a Golf Shop Service Professional in a casual role to work as an integral part of the Golf Shop Team.
We love golf at The Lakes and are looking for a passionate, engaging and positive PGA Member to further enhance the expected world class service we deliver to our Members and their guests.
About The Lakes Golf Club
The Lakes is one of Australia’s premier private golf clubs and recently hosted the Australian Open Championship. Our team of 65 staff are highly professional, positive, service orientated and talented.
Essential Qualities
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to work as part of a team.
- Be able to work flexible hours including weekend work.
- Outstanding people skills and have the ability work inside and outside the Golf Shop.
- Computer skills, good communication and customer service skills.
- Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, in the golf shop and even helping out with the range if required.
Experience
The successful applicant will preferably have experience working in a high-quality golf club including welcoming and checking in players, providing expert retail/product advice, opening and closing the golf shop and even at times, washing and putting away golf carts, cleaning Members Golf Clubs and storing them away.
