About the Role

An opportunity has emerged for an engaging and service orientated Golf Shop Manager with a retail focus and commitment to excellence to join our progressive Club. We seek a highly capable individual to lead from the front and set service standards that exceed member expectations.

Reporting directly to the Golf Operations Manager, responsibilities of this pivotal role include:

• Manage the seven day a week operation of the golf shop, practice fairway, bag storage and associated services befitting a premier private golf club
• Manage all facets of the golf retail operations including ordering, inventory management, display and sale activities
• Manage the golf shop staffing requirements, including rostering, supervision, training and development
• Work closely with the Golf Operations Manager to effectively deliver day to day golf services including bookings, competition management, member events and corporate golf activities
• Providing outstanding service to members, guests and visitors
• Manage golf course directives and Club Rules & By-Laws
• Ensuring the golf shop, practice facilities and storage facilities are presented and maintained in a manner that promotes the high standards expected

About You

Applications are encouraged from candidates with retail management experience who have a strong knowledge of golf, the rules of golf and golf retail products.
