Located in Mackay QLD, Golf King Superstore is an off-course retail outlet owned and operated by PGA Member Anthony Johnson. As a well-known and established business in the region, Golf King Superstore is located adjacent to Fairways Golf Simulator and Bar. The facility has a huge retail space stocking all brands, and caters for both the serious and social golfer, with the complex consisting of 4 golf simulators as well as providing fitting and tuition services.
Located on the doorstep of the Whitsundays assisting in a relaxed lifestyle and exceptional work/life balance, The Golf King Superstore is looking for an individual to be employed on a full-time basis to operate the day-to-day management of the retail store only.
Encompassing the supervision of retail assistants, inventory management, customer service and achieving agreed performance KPIs, the position is a key pillar in the golf industry within the region.
The role is ideally suited to a PGA Member or PGA Associate having retail, management and/or customer service experience.

- Self-motivated & willing to work as part of a team
- Be able to work flexible hours & required times
- Outstanding people & service skills
- Computer & communication skills
- Excellent presentation
Duties:
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following:
- High level of customer service & sales assistance
- Assist with Club fitting services
- Equipment repairs
- Conduct golf lessons
- Supervision of subordinates
- Stock control
Position Remuneration / Entitlements:
A remuneration package will comprise of:
- Base salary (based on experience)
- 100% of coaching revenue
- Short-term incentives (sales commissions)
- Long-term incentives (employee shares)
A relocation allowance is also available should the successful applicant be required to move to the region.
