- Full-time position available.
- Monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO) is included in the package.

Responsibilities
- Prepare turf and surfaces for play including mowing, edging and watering.
- Applies fertilisers, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides as directed by a management employee.
- Formation and maintenance of all gardens, lawns and greens.
- The planting, maintenance and care of trees.
- Change cups and tea markers and maintain ball washers and sandboxes.
- Operates, maintains and adjusts turf machinery as appropriate.
- Cleans machinery and inspects machinery after each use, reporting any problems to a management employee.
- Repair and minor renovation work involving carpentry and/or painting and/or welding.
- Training and supervision of employees of a lower grade, including apprentices.
- General liaison with management and other staff and work with the team on improvement projects and actively contribute ideas for improvement and approaches to enhance the golfing experience.
- Maintain a professional image for our Members and Visitors.
- Activities requiring the application of specialist skills.
- Uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the golf course.
- Other non-trade required tasks as required.
Requirements
- The successful applicant will be qualified in cert III sports turf management or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Greenkeeper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of turf management practices.
- Ability and experience to operate turf machinery and equipment safely.
- Ability to resolve course maintenance issues including irrigation.
- Ability to work with, handle and safely store chemicals.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and a good level of physical fitness.
