JOB: Management Accountant – Callaway Golf (VIC)
Callaway Golf South Pacific is part of a large global organisation that produces and sells golf equipment and accessories and incorporates the Odyssey, Ogio, Travis Mathew and Jack Wolfskin brands as well as Top Golf.
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant (FBP) to manage our end to end accounting functions. This includes month end processing & reporting, accounting compliance activities including managing our indirect tax lodgements, and lead business partnering functions including variance analysis & commentary of local COGS and Opex, as well as management of our budgeting and forecasting processes.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Leadership of the accounting/internal control and compliance functions (inc USGAAP and SOX)
- Business partnering with BU leaders providing accounting support & with operational transactions & metrics
- P&L reporting, including timely month end reports of monthly results including Local COGS and Opex
- Adhering to global guidelines & timelines around monthly forecasting and annual budget process
- Understanding of Operational metrics & drivers to support keys stakeholders
- Support with EOY Statutory Financial process
- Process improvement inline with global best practice
- Maintaining strong working relationships with local and global stakeholders.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Outstanding Excel and communication skills
- SAP experience
- SAC – & forecasting tools knowledge
- Power BI & Business Objects or Analysis for excel experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment or foreign owned international.
- Detail oriented, accurate with attention to detail
- Planning and organisational skills, ability to prioritise work activities
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Entitlement to work in Australia permanently
