JOB: Venue Manager – Centenary Park Golf Course
The Golf course
Clublinks has been appointed by the City of Frankston to manage and market the Centenary Park Golf Course since 2018. This facility comprises an 18-hole golf course, full length driving range, fitting centre, retail and hospitality spaces. 2023 will be an exciting year for Centenary Park Golf Course and Clublinks as the masterplan will come alive. Working closely with Frankston City Council the masterplan will provide direct enhancements to the facility including an upgraded driving range, mini golf development, golf house and upgrades to the golf course.

Reporting to the State Manager – Victoria, this role has arisen due to an internal promotion enabling a smooth transition from the current Venue Manager and ideal commencement of mid to late February 2023.
Responsibilities will include:

About you
As a leader you would describe yourself as a self-starter, keen to progress and lead projects of significance with the golf and recreation space.
You build and maintain exceptional relationships with others and excel in Getting *#it done.
Your proactive approach has been key to your success in building and developing awesome teams and hitting operational targets.
You are comfortable working both at a strategic level and in a hands-on operational sense at times.
You have experience in project management and capital delivery projects.
Other skills and experience we are looking for are:
- Proven experience in managing major facilities across the Golf, Sports and Leisure, Events or Hospitality sectors
- Exceptional people leadership skills including developing high performing teams, mentoring and coaching
- Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment
- Solid financial and business acumen
- Marketing and business development skills
- Contractor and stakeholder management experience
- A proven track record of results
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in recreation / business or similar discipline
