Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Board members Chris Gray and Mark Donohue are among the keynote speakers at next month’s Malaysian Golf Association (MGA)-organised Club and Turf Management Seminar.

To be held at The Royal Selangor Golf Club on June 13-14, the event is supported by The R&A, Golf Club Managers Association of Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia and the AGIF.

The opening day is set aside for topics on club management while the focus on day two will be turf management combined with an afternoon field day.

AGIF President Gray said: “Congratulations to the Malaysian Golf Association for taking the initiative to stage this two-day seminar.

“The AGIF is pleased to support this undertaking which will shine a light on important and topical issues in the club and turf management industries.”

Gray, Head of Sustainable Golf & Agronomy – Asia-Pacific at The R&A, will kick-off proceedings on day two with a presentation on Golf Course Quality Standards and Sustainability.

Also taking to the podium will be AGIF Treasurer Donohue, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, Rain Bird.

Donohue will tackle the topic of Innovations in Golf Course Irrigation: Technologies and Techniques for Water Conservation.
